Many eons ago, a message was sent out

into the void that transcends all causality,

all of space,

all of time.

The message's progenitor is still unknown.

But the message itself

is of immense importance.

Races who have decrypted the message,

to which all can understand,

have done the impossible.

Through understanding the message,

entirely novel and diverse worlds

have had a common ground

upon which they can understand

one another.

The decrypters of the message

have come and gone,

but the message remains.

This is the message.

These are its pupils.
